Year 8 enjoyed a fantastic week in Aberdovey on the annual Outward Bound trip just before the Easter holidays. They were blessed with some glorious spring sunshine and made the most of all the opportunities on offer. The pupils developed their teamwork, leadership and communication skills through a variety of challenges, including jetty jumping, canoeing, abseiling, scrambling, climbing and gorge walking. They tested their resilience on hikes and developed their understanding and appreciation of the natural environment. Year 8 also enjoyed toasting marshmallows round the campfire and relaxing and socialising with their friends. Above all they had great fun and made lifelong memories.
